University of Politecnico di Torino, Italy (Master) Fully Funded Scholarships 2024

1. The whole process of selection and admission will be strictly regulated by the university and follows the principles of openness, fairness, and academic integrity.

2. Any dishonesty that happened during the selection and admission process will lead to admission or studentship cancellation.

Changan University, China Fully Funded Scholarships 2024


1. Good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with regular study).

2. Applicants for the master’s program should be under 30 by September 1st, 2024.

3. Academic Requirement: As of September 1st, 2023, applicants for the master’s program must hold a bachelor’s degree.

4. Learning Ability

Applicants should have good learning ability and academic performance.

The requirement for a previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above.

For CSC scholarship applicants, the requirement for a previous academic grade level is an average score of 80% and above.

Applicants may provide other evidence of academic ability, such as the GRE and GMAT scores.

5. Language Requirement

Applicants should have Chinese or English language proficiency that meets the requirement.

6. The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.

For the applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants must hold the passports or citizenship certificates of their current countries for at least 4 years in addition to the 2-year “proof of residence” in recent 4 years.

Applicants whose one or both parents are Chinese citizens must provide one of the following supporting documents:

1) The certificate proving that the applicant obtained the foreign nationality at birth

2) For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants shall provide the certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality.

1. A copy of the personal information page of your valid passport. Applicants currently residing in mainland China must also provide a scanned copy of the currently valid visa page or residence permit page.

2. A copy of the undergraduate diploma. Graduating students can provide a pre-graduation certificate. All above-mentioned documents must be original or notarized.

3. Transcripts for each semester/academic year during the undergraduate period. GRE, GMAT, and other international standardized test scores are accepted.

4. Recommendation letters from two professors ( associate professor or level above).

5. Study and research plan in China (based on given template).

6. Chinese/English language certificate.

Under this circumstance, a language certificate is not needed:

Applicants who are Chinese native speakers and applying for Chinese medium courses.

Applicants who are English native speakers and applying for English medium courses.

7. Non-criminal record (valid for six months).

8. Acceptance letter from a supervisor.

Acceptance letter is not a must for master applicants and will be a bonus point.

9. Officially recognized awards, and scientific research achievements (if any).

10. A copy of the “Physical Examination Form for Foreigners” (valid for six months).

11. Bank statement.

12. Other supplementary materials required.

13. Students applying for architecture or design majors shall provide their own art/design portfolio.

Note:

2) Some colleges have specific requirements on students’ language or Master program acceptance letters from professors:

l School of Management has extra requirements for GPA and language proficiency certificate for Master applicants: GPA of 80% and above is required; IELTS 6.5 or equivalent language certification is required.

l School of Public Policy and Administration has extra requirements for a language proficiency certificate: for Chinese medium major applicants, HSK level 6 (180 or above) is required; for English medium major applicants, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent language certification is required.

l The School of Aeronautics, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Management, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and School of Life Science require that the Master Program Applicants have to have the acceptance letter from supervisors to complete the application. 3) All the above application materials must be in English or Chinese. Notarized English or Chinese translations are required if materials are in other languages.

Step 1 – Documents Preparation

Applicants must meet all requirements and prepare application materials accordingly.

Step 2 – Complete online application

Create an account and log into the NPU online application portal at (http://admission.nwpu.edu.cn/) to complete the application.

1. The NPU online application portal is the only acceptable application gate. After completing the application, a non-refundable fee (600 RMB/ about 100 USD) must be paid to validate the application.

2. A valid e-mail address should be used to register for the online application system. The Admissions Office will send application results and notifications to this e-mail address.

3. Applicants should upload the required documents before the deadline.

Step 3 – Application Materials Review

1. The Admissions Office will review the authenticity of materials.

2. Academic schools will review the applicant’s academic competency. The review process takes approximately ten working days. All qualified applicants will be invited for a follow-up interview or examination.

3. During the application period, applicants need to pay attention to the review status on the application system and their e-mail promptly as well for process and feedback. Also applicants are asked to reply to the related email on time. Applicants who fail to respond to the email in a timely manner or fail to submit supplementary materials as required will be regarded as forfeit.

Step 4 – Examination/ Interview

1. Qualified applicants will receive e-mail notifications regarding the examination and interview method, content, and time. Applicants should attend the examination or interview according to specified instructions.

2. The Admissions office will announce the results via e-mail a week after the examination or interview.

Step 5 – Registration Deposit

Pre-admitted students must pay a 2000 RMB registration deposit to secure admission seats. This will be refunded after on-site registration (around November-December of the academic year).

Step 6 – Mailing of Admission Documents

Applicants are required to provide valid addresses, and after confirmation, all required admission documents will be mailed to the provided addresses.

Step 7 – Registration

1. Registration dates usually will be at the end of August to the beginning of September 2024. Specific dates will be subject to the admission notice and official notification email for registration. For those who do not register as requested without reason, both admission and scholarship will be canceled. Please attention early registration is not recommended.

2. Admitted candidates should go to Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad to apply for a study (X1) visa with a passport, Admission Notice, and “Visa Application Form for Studying in China.” Come to NPU for registration with the required documents on time.

The first batch: November 15, 2023 – January 15, 2024

The second batch: January 16, 2024 – February 15, 2024

The third batch: February 16, 2024 – March 15, 2024

The fourth batch: March 16, 2024 – April 15, 2024

The CSC Scholarship application deadline is February 15th, 2024. Applicants are encouraged to apply early to have a higher chance of receiving a scholarship.
